Shavuos-All Night Learning
On Shavuos night, we not only commemorate the anniversary of the receiving the Torah but also relive that dynamic experience. Please join us for this memorable evening. Special concurrent learning sessions are held for youth and teens. The evening will be fueled by hot coffee, snacks and ice cream. Learning is followed by morning services at sunrise.

Sponsor Unlocking the Closed Book a bi-weekly class on the power of prayer. This interactive class aims to make prayer more personal and meaningful as a part of our daily lives. Offered every other Shabbos, participants of this class delve into the translation and lessons of each prayer and feel more connected in worship.

Chaburah
The Chaburah is a text-based Talmud study learning program with an emphasis on practical Halacha. After preparing the source materials with a learning partner, a brief synopsis and discussion are led by one of the participants. Hot coffee and pastries are served. Java for the Soul
Every Wednesday morning Women are invited to join us for a cup of Java for body and soul. Our weekly class on The Ethics of the Fathers they will discover how these messages are relevant to our daily lives. This class offers a unique blend of inspirational insight and practical tools for our daily lives.

PARENT AND CHILD LATTE N' LEARNING
Parent & Child Learning Program
is scheduled for the winter months during daylight savings on alternating Motzoei Shabbos’. Join Etz Chaim youth in reclaiming family night. Parents and grandparents are invited to bond with their children of all ages over a sefer. The evening begins with a forty-five minute one-on-one learning session with your children and continues with pizza, soft drinks, a story and prizes for everybody.
Sponsorship opportunities $150- 200 per event
Latte & Learning will take place periodically throughout the year on Thursday nights. “You raise the questions and together we work out the answers” – over a cup of joe. The program has morphed into a combined officer’s meeting/Torah discussion forum. L&L is open to senior NCSY [grades 8-12] and all teens are encouraged to bring along friends.

NCSY SHABBATONS FNL SHABBATONS
The Friday Night Lights (FNL) Shabbatonim are local home-based programs for which the community flies in NCSY advisors from all over the country to join us.

Sponsor a child for one week of camp $150
Camp Sheves Achim is an Orthodox Day camp that is located at Etz Chaim Synagogue.
We cater to boys and girls ages 3-10. The camp is staffed with a wonderful group of counselors,
who provide a safe and warm environment. It is filled with a variety of activities such as
baking, arts and crafts, swimming, and science experiments.

Lunch and Learn
In the hustle and bustle of our hectic work days, we rarely have the opportunity to pause and reflect on how to bring meaning into our lives. However, each month, Rabbi Avi Feigenbaum visits with employees and professionals to help do just that. These engaging Lunch and Learns are held at noon, and alternate between various downtown and Mandarin office locations. Whether discussing the meaning of an upcoming holiday, everyday life issues, or personal growth, Rabbi Feigenbaum facilitates interactive discussion with enthusiasm and passion. In addition to providing a delicious kosher lunch free of charge, these monthly sessions are uplifting and informative. Sponsorship is $250 per event
